O'Fallon Torpedoes Swim Team

Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center is the home of the O'Fallon Torpedoes Swim Team. The 2025 Torpedoes season will run from June through July. Swim meets are held on Monday evenings throughout St. Charles County.

The O'Fallon Torpedoes compete in the St. Charles County Summer Swim League, and host several meets throughout the summer. For the swim team to operate smoothly, all parents are required to volunteer their time at swim meets throughout the season.

Swim Team Skill Evaluations

If this will be your child’s first year on the Torpedoes Swim Team, you will be contacted to coordinate a skills evaluation for your child with our coaches. The evaluation should only take 10 to 15 minutes. Evaluations will be held at the Renaud Center according to the schedule posted. Once you are registered for the team, you will be contacted about attending one of those three sessions, you do not need to register on this website.

To be eligible for the Swim Team, you child does not have to be perfect in all 4 strokes; we just need to know/see that they have the basic skills and understanding to be part of the swim team.  Note: If your swimmer participated in either the Swim Team Prep For Beginners or Torpedoes Pre-Season Prep classes in January-April, then that will count as their skill evaluation.  

Swimmers should be able to:

• 8 & Under: 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke
• Ages 9–12: 50 yards of freestyle and backstroke with a flip turn; 25 yards of breaststroke and butterfly
• Ages 13 & Up: 50 yards of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly with a flip turn
