Volunteer Jobs
Being involved in the O'Fallon Torpedoes Swim Team requires parent commitment, part of this commitment is a volunteer requirement. When you registered, you submitted a mandatory Volunteer Form outlining and acknowledging this requirement. If parents do not volunteer, dues and deposits will go up to accommodate additional staff costs.
- Hint: Meets can be long events: well organized and well assisted meets can and will run shorter and smoothly
Following these guidelines will help make our season fun and successful. These guidelines were established so meets can run as smoothly as possible for you and your swimmers.
- Each family works half a meet 4 times or 2 full meets
- If you have signed up to work and cannot, it is your responsibility to find a replacement
- All workers must be at least 16 years of age or older
- If you are not able to fulfill your volunteer requirement, the family deposit will not be refunded and your ability to register for the swim team in the future will be in jeopardy
- Volunteer schedules will be assigned through Swimtopia
- Please remember when you create your account that you add at least 2 parents/guardians. This will help you sign up for volunteer jobs!
